Introduction

Research Methodology

The study location was chosen purposive based on the potential of the region as one of the cassava production centers. Farmers sampling was carried out using the Slovin formula, with a total population studied by 37 people. Descriptive analysis methods were used to evaluate production costs, while a financial feasibility analysis method was applied to analyze financial feasibility.

Research Result

Based on the results of the study, the total cost of cassava production in one planting period was Rp 7,606,479. The workforce productivity obtained reaches 45.77 HKO (working days), while land productivity is 2,727.37 kg/ha. On the other hand, the level of income received from the farming of cassava in one planting period is Rp 13,412,440.

The level of feasibility of this cassava farming also shows encouraging results. With a financial feasibility ratio (R/C) of 2.79, this farming business is considered very profitable and feasible to be developed. That is, every Rp 1.00 invested in this farming will generate Rp 2.79.
