In this study, we aim to analyze the effect of bank bankruptcy on the share price of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange using the Altman Z-Score method.

The research population consisted of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, with sampling techniques carried out purposive sampling. The result was obtained 20 banking companies that were the object of research.

The results of this study indicate a positive and significant relationship between bank bankruptcy and the share price of banking companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This indicates that when a bank indicated bankruptcy, its share price tends to decline. Conversely, the bank that is declared healthy according to Z-Score analysis will be more likely to maintain or even increase its share price.
