In this study, we aim to evaluate the effectiveness of the Precedence Diagram Method (PDM) and Ranking Positional Weight Method (RPWM) in optimal project scheduling.

Although these two methods are able to produce more optimal costs compared to the initial costs of the project, scheduling using the PDM method is more able to save project costs significantly. The results show a savings of Rp 62,349,258,- compared to RPWM scheduling. This shows that although RPWM is faster in terms of duration, PDM provides benefits in terms of cost management.
