The second factor was palm oil varieties, consisting of three types namely V1 (D x P 239), V2 (D x P Simalungun), and V3 (D x P Avros).

Results

The results of this study showed that the treatment with the composition of planting media (Top Soil + Palm Oil Fiber + TKKS + Solid Decanter) in a ratio of 1: 1: 1: 1 gives the best response to plant height, stem circumference, and phosphorus content in varieties D x P 239. This suggests that the use of oil palm factory waste as a planting medium can provide additional nutrition for plants, leading to improved growth and productivity.

Discussion

The use of oil palm factory waste as a planting medium is an innovative step in supporting sustainable agriculture. These waste, such as TKKS and Solid Decanter, can provide additional nutrition for plants while reducing wasted waste. This research not only provides insight into the effectiveness of industrial waste as a planting medium, but also invites agricultural actors to be wiser in choosing the media and plant varieties, for the achievement of optimal and sustainable results. Therefore, this study suggests that the use of oil palm factory waste as a planting medium is a promising approach for sustainable oil palm cultivation.
