The Ministry of Health Regulation No. 75 of 2014 requires all Puskesmas in Indonesia to be accredited no later than 2019. This regulation has put pressure on health centers to prepare for accreditation, which involves various efforts, including workshops, independent assessments, document preparation, implementation, and pre-survey assessment. The Binjai Estate Health Center, which has never been accredited, has been making various initiatives to achieve this goal. Data analysis was done manually by recording the results of interviews and summarizing the results in the form of matrices.

Research Findings

The results showed that the Head of the Binjai Estate Puskesmas still did not understand the accreditation guidelines. As a result, the coaching given to the accreditation team tends to only provide an outline, so the team does not have a deep understanding in completing efforts to accreditation. This shows that complete information and understanding is very important for the success of the accreditation process.
