Introduction

However, the company faces challenges in maintaining a high level of employee performance, which can be attributed to various factors, including the work environment and employee ability. This study aims to investigate the effect of working environment and ability on employee performance at PT. Darmasindo Core Rubber Tebing Tinggi.

Methodology

This study employed a quantitative approach, using a simple random sampling method to select 126 employees out of a population of 185 employees. The data analysis method applied includes descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The study aimed to examine the relationship between working environment, employee ability, and employee performance.

Results

The results of the study show that both the work environment and employee ability simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on employee performance at PT. Darmasindo Core Rubber Tebing Tinggi. In-depth analysis shows that when tested separately, the two variables still have a positive and significant influence on employee performance. This suggests that a supportive work environment and adequate employee abilities are essential to increase employee productivity and performance.
