Introduction

The study in this thesis includes a brief history of the Railroad Public Company (Perumka), as well as the process of building a railroad track in North Sumatra. This study also discussed changes in the status of the railroad company which had an impact on employee rights, such as the transformation from Civil Servants (PNS) to company employees.
