The analysis shows a significant relationship between S100B levels before and after craniotomy with the value of P = 0.002. However, no significant relationship was found between S100B levels after craniotomy with Nano scores (p = 0.685, r = 0.114) and also no significant relationship with KPS in primary brain tumor patients (p = 0.625, r = -0.138).
Conclusion
There is a significant difference between S100B levels before and after craniotomy in patients with primary brain tumors. However, further research is needed to evaluate long-term outputs related to Nano and KPS scores after craniotomy in primary brain tumor patients. In-depth understanding of S100B levels can help in determining better prognosis and treatment strategies for future patients.
