This study aims to analyze the simultaneous influence of education level and motivation on employee performance in PDAM Tirtanadi Branch of Sei Agul Medan.

Methodology

This study uses a survey approach with a causal method, adopting human resource theory related to education, motivation, and employee performance. The population in this study consists of all 45 employees in the PDAM Tirtanadi Sei Agul Medan Branch, and all of them were chosen as research samples through interviews, questionnaires, and direct observations. The data obtained is then processed using the SPSS program and analyzed descriptively. Hypothesis testing is carried out by multiple linear regression tests.

Results

The results of this study show that the level of education and motivation simultaneously have a significant influence on employee performance in PDAM Tirtanadi Branch of Sei Agul Medan. Partially, the most dominant variable affecting performance is the level of education, where an increase in one unit at the education level will improve employee performance by 0.546. Meanwhile, an increase in one unit on motivation will improve employee performance by 0.476.
