Customer loss or Churn is a serious problem in the telecommunications industry. Every year, around 30% of customers turn to other providers. This of course is detrimental to the service provider company. The CRM department usually uses direct communication strategies, such as SMS or telephone, to offer additional bonuses and maintain customers. However, this approach is often ineffective because the offer is sometimes given to loyal customers who do not have the intention to switch. As a result, the company actually lost money by giving bonuses that were not on target.

A more effective solution is to predict the potential for Churn customers before they really switch. Thus, the company can target the right offer to the right customers and prevent losses. This study uses the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm to predict the call plan of Churn on cellular phone users in the United States.
