Introduction

The tofu manufacturing industry in Indonesia is a significant sector that contributes to the local economy. In dealing with demands to increase productivity while maintaining environmental sustainability, Ponimin MSMEs are faced with challenges to manage the waste produced. This study aims to provide alternative production that can reduce waste while increasing company productivity.

The Green Productivity (GP) approach was created to overcome environmental and technical challenges in the manufacturing sector. Through the application of the mass balance and green value stream mapping (GVSM) method, this study analyzes the waste produced by Ponimin MSMEs. The first step in this analysis is to identify and measure the waste produced during the tofu production process, both organic and unused waste.

Methodology

After the waste analysis is carried out, various alternative waste management is then proposed to the company. The main goal is to increase the company's green productivity index (GPI). From a series of alternatives given, the Analytical Network Process (ANP) method is used to select the best options that can be implemented. ANP is an effective method in the assessment of complex decisions and involves many criteria, which are very relevant for this context.

Results and Discussion

The results of the application of ANP show alternative waste management that can increase the value of the Environmental Impact (EI) and the company's GPI. By applying this alternative, Ponimin MSMEs are not only able to increase productivity, but also reduce the negative impact on the environment.
