Introduction

This study aims to develop early detection candidates for colorectal cancer in patients in Indonesia. The research focuses on analyzing the expression of Heat Shock Protein 70 (HSP70) and Caspase-3 and microbiota composition in Colorectal Cancer Patients (KKR) compared to colorectal non-cancer patients in Aceh Province.

In addition, the isolation of DNA feces and PCR-DGGE analysis is carried out to evaluate the composition of microbiota in 16 patients with colorectal cancer and 16 colorectal non-cancer patients.

From this study, it can be concluded that the expression of HSP70 is contrary to the expression of Caspase-3, and the loss of bifidobacterium in colorectal cancer patients can be used as an important indicator in early detection of colorectal cancer in Indonesia. This knowledge has major implications in the development of prevention and early detection strategies, which are essential to improve the prognosis and quality of life of colorectal cancer patients in this country.
