EEDK and FHDK show anticancer activity by inhibiting the cell cycle in the G0-G1 phase, with cell accumulation values of 63.52% and 62.69% respectively. In addition, both of them are also able to suppress the expression of COX-2 in MCF-7 cells, although it does not cause apoptosis.
