Introduction

R3: Feed with the addition of vitamin A 12000 IU/kg
R4: Feed with the addition of vitamin A 16000 IU/kg

Each treatment was repeated four times, and observed parameters included the level of ration consumption, body weight gain, and ration conversion. The data was analyzed using the smallest real difference test (BNT) to determine the significant differences between treatments.

Research Results

The results of this study showed that the average feed consumption was 627.99 grams per head per week, with an average body weight gain of 146.35 grams per head per week and an average ration conversion of 4.30. The addition of vitamin A in the ration was found to increase feed consumption, but it did not have a significant effect on the increase in body weight and conversion of Peking duck rations.

Discussion

The results of this study suggest that the addition of vitamin A in rations can contribute to an increase in feed consumption, but it may not be sufficient to improve body weight gain and ration conversion. This may be due to the fact that Peking ducks have a good tolerance for vitamin A, and higher doses may not be necessary to achieve optimal performance.
