Introduction

This study aims to analyze the effect of these three variables on the amount of money supply in Indonesia, using data from the annual reports of Bank Indonesia and the Central Statistics Agency for the period of 1988 to 2007.

Methodology

This study uses a quantitative approach, employing a multiple regression model to analyze the relationship between the amount of money supply and the three independent variables. The dependent variable is the amount of money in circulation, while the independent variables are government expenditure, foreign exchange reserves, and SBI interest rates. The overall test shows that the three variables simultaneously affect the increase in the amount of money supply (F-Test> F-Table (583,9094> 6.11)).
