Introduction

The first factor was the color of the fabric, which consisted of five variations: black cloth (KO), white cloth (KI), violet cloth (K2), green cloth (K3), and red cloth (K4). The second factor was the administration of HCl, which was divided into two levels: treatment with HCl (H1) and treatment without HCl (H2). The parameters observed in this study were the percentage of hatched egg fertility and the time period of eggs that hatch.

Results

The results of this study indicate that both fabric colors and HCl administration have a significant influence on the percentage of egg fertility and hatching egg period. The highest percentage of fertility was found in black cloth (KO) with 29.17%, HCl treatment (H1) with a percentage of 30%, and the interaction between black fabrics and HCl (KOHI) produces the highest percentage of 58.33%. In addition, the study also noted that the most hatched egg period occurred in the treatment of black cloth (KO).
