Introduction

The city of Medan, being one of the largest cities in Indonesia, is not immune to this problem. In fact, termite attacks on state elementary school buildings in Medan have become a serious concern that needs to be addressed. This study aims to calculate the economic losses caused by damage to public elementary school buildings due to termite attacks and to map the spread of termite using a geographical information system (GIS).
