Despite the implementation of this QMS, the company has not yet achieved the desired level of employee productivity. This study aims to investigate the effect of the application of ISO 9001: 2008 on employee work productivity at PT. Indonesia Asahan Aluminum Kuala Tanjung. The study focuses on the importance of variables such as competence, training and awareness, infrastructure, and work environment in contributing to the company's quality culture, which in turn affects work productivity.

This emphasizes the importance of appropriate training and employee awareness of quality to increase their productivity.

Discussion

The empirical findings of this study show that to increase work productivity, training factors and awareness must get more attention. This includes providing equitable opportunities for employees to attend training and determining training topics that are relevant to the needs of their work units. Thus, the company will not only improve employee performance directly, but also build a quality culture that is the basis for the continuity and competitive advantage of PT. Indonesia Asahan Aluminum.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the application of ISO 9001: 2008 not only functions as a means to meet international standards, but also as a strategic tool to increase employee productivity through competency development, appropriate training, and improve the state of the work environment. Through an integrated approach between the quality management system and human resource development, PT. Indonesia Asahan Aluminum can realize the company's goals, meaning not only to meet quality standards but also achieve higher work productivity.
