The purpose of this study is to analyze the cancellation of grants in the Medan Religious Court, specifically in the case of Medan Religious Court Decision No. 887/PDT.G/2009/PA.Mdn.

In the decision of the Medan Religious Court No. 887/Pdt.G/2009/PA.Mdn, the judge decided to cancel a grant from his wife to the husband because no written evidence was found regarding the distribution of assets. This made it difficult for the Defendant to maintain his resistance.
