Introduction

Diabetes mellitus (DM) type 2 is a metabolic disease that has become increasingly common and widespread. With this approach, it is expected to improve the quality of life of sufferers and reduce the burden of diabetes in the community.

Conclusion

This study not only highlighted the prevalence of type 2 diabetes, but also the importance of attention to aspects of lipid metabolism. Therefore, integrated prevention efforts, including educational and health education programs, are very necessary so that sufferers can manage their conditions well.

Recommendations

Based on the results of this study, the following recommendations are made:

Health education programs should be implemented to educate patients with type 2 DM about the importance of healthy lifestyle and balanced diet.
Regular health supervision and monitoring of lipid metabolism should be conducted to prevent cardiovascular complications.
Integrated prevention efforts, including educational and health education programs, should be implemented to reduce the burden of diabetes in the community.
