The simulation results were analyzed to determine the optimal flame time and material composition for each sample.

Results

The simulation results showed that the coal briquette sample (Q1) with coal composition had an optimal flame time of 13.68 minutes, density of 1.52 gr/cm3, and compressive strength of 208.94 kg/cm2. Meanwhile, clay briquette samples (Q4) recorded the best results for ash content (68.37%) and heat values (275.2 kcal/kg). The results also showed that the composition of the material had a significant influence on the nature of coal briquettes, with coal producing better time, density, and compressive strength, while clay played an important role in increasing ash levels and heat values.
