Introduction

Hypertension, a degenerative disease that is increasingly rampant, is one of the main health problems in Indonesia, especially among the elderly. To overcome this, the government through BPJS Health and health facilities work together in carrying out integrated chronic disease management programs (Prolanis). This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Prolanis in people with hypertension at the UPT Puskesmas Tangkahan Durian, Langkat Regency, in 2019.
