Introduction

The livestock sector plays a vital role in the economy and the supply of food sources of animal protein. One source of animal protein that contributes significantly to the availability of nutrition is broiler chicken meat. In Hinai District, Langkat Regency, independent broiler chicken breeders generally operate with a small business scale. They face various challenges such as limited capital, simple cultivation technology, resource management that are not optimal, and fluctuating prices and production risks. This study aims to analyze the comparison of broiler chicken business revenues with plasma and Mandiri core patterns in Hinai District, Langkat Regency.

Research Purposes

This research aims to:

Know the characteristics of breeders with the core plasma pattern and the characteristics of independent breeders. Understanding the characteristics of breeders with the core plasma pattern and independent breeders is essential to identify the differences and similarities between them.

Research Methodology

The method of taking the research location was carried out by purposive sampling. Meanwhile, the determination of the sample using a census method involving 13 broiler chicken breeders with a plasma core pattern and 10 independent broiler chicken breeders. Data analysis is carried out by descriptive methods, farming analysis, and t-test.
