The development plan that will be carried out includes the Limau Manis Kelurahan area, with a target of adding new customers as many as 3,884 SR, added to the number of existing customers as many as 724 SR. Thus, total customers are expected to reach 4,608 SR. The total clean water requirement for all customers is estimated to reach 3,456,000 liters per day or equivalent to 3,456 m³ per day, with the needs at peak hours of 0.04 m³ per second. The development plan aims to increase the availability of clean water, improve the quality of life of the community, and contribute to the economic development of the region.

The results of this study indicate that the development of drinking water distribution networks by PDAM Tirta Deli is very necessary. Although the water production capacity is quite large, which is 50 liters per second, the number of customers served is still far from the maximum potential. Therefore, investment in water distribution infrastructure is very important to meet the increasing needs of clean water. By optimizing the distribution system, it is hoped that all customers can be well served and can meet the needs of quality clean water, thereby improving the welfare of the community in the Tanjung Morawa region.
