For example, even though the auditor has participated in the education and training program, the level of application of knowledge gained in daily work practices may not be optimal. This shows that there is a need to increase the implementation of knowledge gained in education and training into daily accounting practices.

In addition, the work environment and other external factors such as management support, the availability of resources, and the existing systems in the SKPD can also affect the timeliness of financial statement preparation. Therefore, the results of this study encourage stakeholders in the Medan City SKPD to not only focus on training and education, but also pay attention to the development of organizational culture that supports the overall control and application of SAP.

Meanwhile, education and training remains important, but further evaluation needs to be carried out on its effectiveness in practice. Thus, SKPD in Medan can improve the performance of financial statements that are more transparent and accountable, while meeting the standards set by the government.
