Results

The results of the interview in this study show that job analysis can help clarify the tasks, responsibilities, and authority of a job so that work can be done effectively. Position Analysis is an important source of information for running work in the company, especially at PT. Pertamina EP Field Rantau Kuala Simpang who has many employees. Position analysis produces two important documents for the company, namely the description of the position and the specifications of the job that contains various matters related to the job position of each that supports the effectiveness of the work.

Effectiveness, in this context, is measured by the extent to which the company achieves its goals by using available resources, facilities, and supporting infrastructure. Effectiveness is measured by several indicators, namely the ability to adapt, work performance, and job satisfaction.
