Introduction

Methodology

This study employed a correlational quantitative method, using the theory of uses and effects as a foundation. The research population consisted of all USU students, with a sample of 100 students selected using the Taro Yamane formula, ensuring a 10% accuracy and 90% confidence level. The sampling technique used was quota sampling, and data collection was carried out through field research using a Google Form-based online questionnaire (G-form). Student anxiety levels were measured using the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS).

Results

The results of the validity and reliability test of 49 questions revealed that 2 questions were declared invalid on the YouTube Judge Criminal Content variable. The reliability of the YouTube Criminal Content Nessie Judge variable was 0.830, while the reliability of the USU student anxiety variables reached 0.970. The data analysis was carried out using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis techniques, including Spearman's rank order correlations.

The results showed that USU students' anxiety levels were divided into four categories: 33 respondents (33%) without anxiety, 42 respondents (42%) mild anxiety, 20 respondents (20%) moderate anxiety, and 5 respondents (5%) severe anxiety. The correlation analysis revealed a significant relationship between YouTube Nessie Judge's criminal content and USU student anxiety level, with an influence of 34% based on the determination test calculation.
