This study aims to examine the impact caused by PT Inalum on the socio-economic life of the community in Lalang Village, Medang Deras District. By using a qualitative approach and involving nine informants from the local community and three informants from the company, this research collects data through observation and direct interviews.

Positive Impact of Industrialization

The presence of industries such as PT Inalum in this region brought a number of positive impacts. Among the most significant benefits is the creation of employment, which not only reaches the formal sector, but also the informal sector. The opening of this employment certainly provides additional income for local communities, which results in improving the quality of life.
