Introduction

To answer these questions, we used data collection methods by analyzing manufacturing company financial statements selected as objects of study. Secondary data were obtained from the annual financial statements for the period 2010 to 2012. The analytical method uses classical assumptions and hypothesis testing with regression equations, T tests, F tests, and coefficient of determination.

The DER variable has a regression coefficient -0.064, indicating that partially, DER has no significant influence on the stock returns of manufacturing companies on the IDX. Simultaneously, the EPS, ROE, and DER variables do not have a significant influence on the stock returns of manufacturing companies listed on the IDX.
