Introduction

Caring behavior or concern from the mental nurse is a vital aspect of healthcare services. It not only affects the physical health of patients but also their emotional and psychological well-being. In the context of the Syamtalyra Bayu Health Center, the caring behavior of mental nurses is expected to have a positive impact on the level of family satisfaction. Methodology

This study used a quantitative approach to analyze the correlation between the caring behavior of mental nurses and family satisfaction. The sample consisted of 141 client family members, who were selected using purposive sampling. The instruments used in this study included questionnaires for demographic data, as well as measuring devices for the behavior of the Caring Nurses Mental nurses called Caring Behavior Inventory (CBI) and Family Satisfaction Questionnaires known as Patient Satisfaction Questionnaire (PSQ). Hypothesis testing was carried out using the Spearman correlation test.

Results

The results of this study showed a significant correlation between the caring behavior of mental nurses and family satisfaction. The P value of 0,000 (p <0.05) indicated a strong correlation between the two variables. This suggests that the better the behavior of the caring mental nurses, the higher the level of family satisfaction obtained.

Analysis and Recommendations

The results of this study indicate that the behavior of the mental nurse's caring at the Syamtalyra Bayu Health Center is mostly in the category of sufficient, with 76 respondents (53.9%). On the other hand, family satisfaction is also in the category of satisfaction, with 77 respondents (54.6%). This finding shows the importance of caring behavior in improving the quality of health services, which in turn affects the satisfaction of the client's family.

However, despite the good level of family satisfaction, there is still room for improvement in the behavior of the Caring of Soul Nurses. This indicates that there is an awareness that needs to be improved for mental nurses in the Puskesmas. Directed training about caring behavior needs to be carried out to strengthen the knowledge, attitudes, and skills of nurses.

Conclusion

This study provides a basis for developing training programs that focus on developing the interpersonal skills of the mental nurse, so that the quality of health services at the Syamtalyra Bayu Health Center can continue to be improved. The implementation of this training program is expected to have a positive impact not only for nurses, but also for patients and their families. With increasing caring behavior, family satisfaction is expected to increase. This will not only improve the relationship between nurses and patients, but also has a positive impact on long-term health results.
