Introduction

Through qualitative analysis techniques, the authors find various legal problems that arise in the process of dissolution and liquidation of cooperatives.

The dissolution of the cooperative has a significant impact not only for the cooperative itself, but also to the government, management, supervisors, members of the certificate holder, employees, and creditors. In the bankrupt situation, the settlement steps must be taken to deal with cooperative rights and obligations as legal entities. This indicates that cooperatives still have the applicable legal status until the official dissolution is recorded in the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia (BNRI).
