Analysis of the phylogenetic trees revealed that Styrax Sumatrana has the same monophyletic group as Suberifolius Styrax and Styrax Chinensis, with a bootstrap value of 63%. These findings have important implications for understanding the evolution of Toba's incense and its relationship with other incense species.
