Meanwhile, for particle boards with isocyanate adhesive, the density value obtained also ranges from 0.64-0.66 g/cm³, but the water content is lower, which ranges from 20.09-74.23%.

Further analysis shows that particle boards that use isocyanate adhesive have superior mechanical properties, with the value of modulus elasticity (MOE) and fracture modulus (MOR) which is much higher compared to boards that use UF adhesive. For particle boards with isocyanate, MOE and MOR ranges from 6069,44-10957.48 kgf/cm² and 39.83-72.58 kg/cm². This shows that the use of isocyanate adhesive can increase the strength and durability of the particle board produced.
