Introduction

Manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) have various factors that affect their financial performance, especially in terms of profitability. This study aims to reveal the effect of these two financial ratios on the profitability of manufacturing companies listed on the IDX in the period 2010 to 2012. The sample used in this study included 20 manufacturing companies listed on the Exchange during that period, and the data analyzed was taken from the official website www.idx.co.id.
