Manufacture of Polyester Composite BQTN 157-EX with a Reinforcement of Bentonite and Surfactant Cetyl Trimethyl Ammonium Bromide (CTAB)

In this study, we focus on the manufacture of polyester composite BQTN 157-EX with a reinforcement of bentonite and surfactant cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB). The treatment of bentonite with CTAB is an important step in making the composite, as it allows the bentonite to interact with the polyester resin and improve the mechanical properties of the composite.
