Introduction

The quality of health services plays a crucial role in determining patient satisfaction, particularly in the context of normal delivery care. A study conducted in Tebing Tinggi City from February to August 2005 aimed to explore the relationship between the quality of normal labor care services provided by midwives and the level of postpartum patient satisfaction. Referral Plan: A good referral plan has the opportunity to be 3.1 times to increase patient satisfaction.
Stage of I-IV Assistance: This variable was found to have a significant relationship with patient satisfaction.

Of the seven variables, three variables, namely facilities, knowledge, and stage of the I-IV-stage assistance, were identified as the most influential factors based on logistical regression analysis. Among the three, the variable facility was proven to be the most dominant factor.

Based on the results of the study, to improve the quality of midwife services in Tebing Tinggi City, it is recommended that several steps be taken, including:

Improvement of Education: Increasing Midwife Educational Background through Further Training and Education Programs.
