The chickens were fed with the respective rations for 12 weeks, and their carcass weight, carcass percentage, and non-headquarters were measured and recorded.

The results showed that there were no significant differences (P≥0.05) in carcass weight, carcass percentage, and non-headquarters between groups of chicken that were treated with fermented and non-fermented sago pulp. This indicates that sago pulp has the potential as an alternative feed source for native chickens, regardless of the fermentation process.
