Analysis of the Relationship between Working Capital Turnover and Total Assets of Return on Assets in Cosmetics Companies and Household Needs Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange
Introduction

Methodology
This study used secondary data obtained from reports issued by the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2005-2009 period. The data analysis method used was Pearson correlation analysis with a significance level of α = 5%. The implementation of the Pearson correlation model was carried out using SPSS version 16.0 software for Windows.
Results
The results of this study showed that PT. Mustika Ratu Tbk. has a positive and significant relationship between working capital turnover and return on assets, while the relationship between total assets turnover and return on assets is positive but not significant. Meanwhile, PT. Mandom Indonesia Tbk. shows an insignificant positive relationship between working capital turnover and return on assets, as well as total assets turnover. On the other hand, PT. Unilever Indonesia Tbk. shows an insignificant negative relationship between working capital turnover and return on assets, as well as weak and insignificant relationships between total asset turnover and return on assets.

Working capital turnover and total asset turnover are two important indicators in measuring a company's operational efficiency. Unilever Indonesia Tbk. reflect that other factors besides working capital turnover and total assets can also play a role in influencing ROA. This shows the need for more in-depth analysis of other aspects such as marketing strategies, product innovations, and cost control which can also affect the company's financial performance.
