Introduction

The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) is the primary stock exchange in Indonesia, and it plays a crucial role in the country's financial market. Methodology

This study used a quantitative descriptive analysis method to analyze the effect of company size, debt ratio, company age, reputation of the accounting firm, and auditor's opinion on the timeliness of financial statements. The data was collected using the purposive sampling method, which produced 33 companies as samples. The data was obtained by accessing and downloading independent audit reports and annual reports available on the official IDX website, www.idx.co.id. The analysis method used in this study is logistic regression at a 5% significance level.

Results

The results of this study showed that company size had a significant influence on the timeliness of the delivery of financial statements. This suggests that companies with larger sizes tend to be more able to submit financial reports on time. This can be linked to more resources and better systems to meet reporting requirements. However, other factors such as the age of the company, the reputation of the accounting firm, the debt ratio, and the auditor's opinion did not show a significant effect on the timeliness of financial statements.
